We will take our quiz on www.chatterhigh.com today to start class. We will then work through looking at our interests and working with www.careercruising.com

Today we will start class by looking at the "Simon Says" activity that you took home yesterday and we will discuss decision making and how this applies to careers we might want to look at in the future.  We'll watch a few videos today and sign up to an on-line career quiz site.  www.chatterhigh.com

This is our last day to finish up our work on outlining our skills.  Students who have finished their work can go to www.freerice.com and play some games while the others finish up.  For the last part of class we will start discussing the impact of our choices.  We will do an instructive activity (Simon Says) and discuss the lessons learned.

We started class today by pairing with others who do a similar activity.  We brainstormed a list of 10 skills required for that activity and then we defined transferable skills and looked at which skills we had that were transferable to a job.  We created a note page in our binders with a chart that looked at the various activities we participate in and then created a skills list for each.  Collages were handed in today.

On this day we worked at completing our collages.

On this day we looked at the course outline and  then began an assignment called "This is me".  This assignment involves creating a collage of your interests.
