Today is a work day!! You have the whole class to work on creating your speech. I will give you an outline and expectations for creating a great two minute speech.

Impromptu speaking exercise - this is your third attempt at speaking for one minute with an impromptu topic. Today I will be marking you and giving you some feedback. You will have two more tries at this and you can select your best mark.
We will then be working on what makes a great speech and looking at putting together your speeches which will be done in class at the end of May. If time I would also like to debrief the dance on Friday We will watch our leadership films and go over the speeches you've chosen and begin our anaylsis

I am in Edmonton today. We are playing a leadership game and working on our speeches.
Sub is in today. You will begin research on your own speeches and find a speech that you want to present to the class
