Last class, we worked on developing a clearer idea of what leadership is. We got in groups and talked about 19 different ways to look at effective team work and we got in teams and did a blindfolded activity with a rope. Today we are watching a series of video clips on team work and collecting more information to add to our repertoire of understanding.
Today we are working on Remembrance day. We will be creating original work for the poster and poetry contest and preparing a presentation for the assembly on Nov. 8 2014.
To prepare your posters we're going to take a look at remembrance day in both a historical and a modern way. We're going to look at what life is like for those who live in the places that we are now fighting to protect.

We will discuss our own perspectives and the power we have to impact those around us. We will watch the film "Patch Adams"
Today we are going to start class off with an M & M swap challenge. After we will finish our work on our school values. We will then do a grouping activity and some brainstorming on activities that we would like to host for the student body this semester.
We will begin class with an activity called "Helium Stick" and talk about group dynamics. We will then present our puzzle pieces from our last class and post them on our board and discuss why it's important to know ourselves as leaders. Finally, if we have time, we will watch a short video on being brave enough to be yourself.
