Today we will work on our vocabulary.  We will watch a short clip from the film "A Time to Kill".  Although this film takes place 30 years after the events in the novel, a lot of the issues present in part II of the text are present in this film.  We will take out the sentences we created yesterday and get rid of the "you" in them to make them more formal.  We will look at the "why" question.  Why shouldn't we judge a book by it's cover?  The answer to the "why" question is what will make what we have to say more thoughtful and insightful.  We will finish reading chapter 12.  For homework you will need to read chapter 13.  We will have a quick quiz tomorrow.
