We will start class today by finishing chapter 14.  We will discuss Dill's choice to come to Maycomb and relate this to our writing on how it feels to be cared for but not needed.  We will read chapter 15 and then complete the following writing assignment...

Explain this statement using thoughts from your life...

"A mob's always made up of people no matter what...a gang of wild animals can be stopped simply because they're still human" pg 210.

We will finish by watching a few scenes from "A Time to Kill" that relate to the pressures put on the family of those who have the courage to stand up for what they believe is write regardless of what the rest of society believes.
