Wow, 10 days off and how do we get started warming our brains up again...well, how about a little spelling and vocabulary. We have 10 new words added to our vocabulary list and we will review our spelling words.
To remember our novel we will review chapters 1-9. This is the first part of the text dealing with exposition of Maycomb life, the story of Boo Radley and lessons from Atticus and Miss Maudie. I have sent 5 questions to one person from each group. You need to answer these as a group just to come back up to speed about what is happening in the novel.
Quick write - max 10 mins - Have you ever done something you knew was against the rules but you felt like it was the right thing to do in that particular situation? (For example, maybe you know that you're not allowed to leave the classroom but you know a friend is really sad and in the washroom or you know you shouldn't speed, but your wife is pregnant and needs to go to the hospital or you know fighting is against the rules but you fight a bully or...or...)
