Discuss parallel structure in sentences and do the exercises at this site ...they are kinda cheesy but they will help you to better understand what parallel structure is and how to identify errors. We will then go back to the writing we did on Tuesday and add at least two parallel sentences (they might be there already and only need editing!)
We need to go over the questions for the essay "A New Perspective" and then read the short story "Identities". We will watch the two videos - Jon Stewart's and Michael Moore's and read the "White Privilege" handout and discuss. How does this relate to perspective?
