Today we will be reading a poem by Tom Wayman called "Students" and asking ourselves how we approach learning in the classroom and how this approach then impacts our learning. We will also look at the class website and discuss the necessity to keep up to date on this website.
After this short writing assignment we will start looking at our first unit theme on Perspectives. We will view a series of photos/ drawings (see perspectives powerpoint) to generate some ideas about how perspectives can vary.
We will finish class by briefly going over the course outline. (if there is enough time, we will read Janice Fein's essay "A New Perspective)
