Our second day of grammar continues and we will review run on sentences today and have a space race on socrative.
We will begin exploring our first text "Arming the Spirit" and discuss what it means to annotate text. You will be given an option today to either work with a paper copy or use annotation software at http://a.nnotate.com/ . Either way it doesn't matter. We will practice this skill today as learning how to do a close reading and analysing text is an essential skill for ELA 20.
We will look at personal response to text writing today and do some brainstorming on the topic.
