Today we will do another comma quiz...located in your google classroom.  Then work for 10 minutes on our vocabulary paragraphs.

We will then read to the end of Act II (one page) and take some notes on Theme.  The two most important quotations to take from the end of this Act "I'll tell you what's walking Salem - Vengeance is walking Salem.  We are what we always were in Salem, but now the little crazy children are jangling the keys of the kingdom, and common vengeance writes the law!"(73)

and

"Now Hell and Heaven grapple on our backs, and all our old pretense is ripped away - Make your peace! Peace.  It is a providence, and no great change; we are only what we always were, but naked now." (76)

We will discuss these and brainstorm what is being burned away by the crucible.  We will draw a visual of the clothes and what the characters are like underneath.
