In an effort to really look at what is required to do excellent writing, we will do a peer review exercise.  Every student will share their symbolism and allegory essay with another student.  I have a peer feedback sheet to guide you through the process of giving effective feedback.  After giving feedback, you will also assess a grade based on the marking criteria.  For the last 10 minutes you will be given a chance to go over the feedback and make changes to your own essay before submitting for marking.  (you will be allowed to make these changes over the course of the evening as well)
